Read this Privacy Policy of giving2children regarding personal data processing in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the General Data Protection Regulation / GDPR). giving2children is an online crowdfunding platform managed by Childhood Cancer International (CCI), a non-profit organisation, with legal entity registered under the number 855025177, in The Netherlands, at the address Kraijenhoffstraat 137A, 1018RG, Amsterdam. Introduction

This Privacy Policy applies for giving2children. We pledge to protect the personal data we collect when you are using our Website and other services. This Privacy Policy sets out giving2children’s commitment to protect personal data and this commitment applies when collecting, using, transferring and retaining such data. This Policy also applies when giving2children acts as a data controller.

  • Identifiers: Registration information provided at the time of submitting a request through our contact form, signing up, submitting a project application, submitting an update, submitting a report, and when you enter a promotion or sign up for updates and newsletters.   • Transaction information: Information provided by Donors to third parties (e.g., the payment processors, Stripe and PayPal) at the time of making the donation. Please be aware that in most cases, giving2children cannot view or access all the compliance-related information you provide, such as full bank account numbers.
  • Financial information: Information provided by the Member organisations at the time of signing up the Agreement specific for each project approved for fundraising, including limited bank information necessary for electronic fund transfer (EFT) and related contact information.
  • Compliance information: Information provided for the process of tax deduction, as specifically required by donor’s country legislation.
  • Internet, network, or device information: We obtain information from third parties, such as location information, provided by a mobile or other device, or related to your IP address, where applicable law allows us to collect this information.
  • Miscellaneous data: Data you choose to share in a public forum, physical features provided through photographs and videos, and other information reasonably linked to you.

Personal data transfer

giving2children may disclose personal data collected to our suppliers or subcontractors insofar as reasonably necessary for dealing with your questions or requests. Such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards.
